Fetch's Info...

Fetch's Story...
Fetch is a beautiful red fox colored lab and you guessed it, he likes to play fetch. He is tall and thin and very atheletic. Fetch is young, about 1 and a half and will need to be appropriately exercised for a lab with his energy level. This lab is for the serious lab enthusiast as he is not for the faint of heart. This boy is a true lab and will need to be in a home with a family that has dog experience (preferably lab experience). Fetch will need to learn some obedience as he is strong and pulls on lead. Fetch is currently working on his gentlemanly skills and typical house manners. He is crate trained and will go right in when he is asked and he knows sit, but still needs to brush up to make him the fine young boy he was meant to be. Fetch is lover of humans and gets along great with other dogs, but the kitties are no match for this boy. Fetch loves to play and will do great as a running partner, hiking, swimming, and other fun activities he can participate in with his family. He would make a great dog for dog parks and doggy daycare and will make a great family dog for just about any home looking for a fun loving, wonderfully spirited lab boy. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He is microchipped and kept on frontline and heartgard. If you think you are the right family for this gorgeous boy, please complete an online application and request him on the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fetch, a Salem Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
