Baby Moon's Story...
Baby Moon: 7 to 9 month old female cream persian

We just got her 9/24. She has not had her bath yet and needs is it. .
Her owner's new pet deposit was too high so she was regretfully left
at a shelter. Her family had only had her 4 months. We were able to
get her out within 24 hours. She is a tiny treasure and still
developing her color I think. She has a little red on her cheeks and
ears and a frosting of it down her back. Gold eyes so she is not a
Himalayan. She is definitely on the thin side and we are feeding her
up. I would guess she is 4 pounds or so.

Just a baby. A bit sad and scared, maybe depressed. Unconfident from
all the changes outside of her control going on around her. Missing
her family? She started playing with toys today and that was good.
Her life definitely has not been going the way it should. She should
be fat and happy and clean and sparkly with her young cuteness. it is
coming. And she sure is cute.

So far she is very good natured and cooperative. She is a lovebug.
Nice little girl. She needs a safe settled home where she can be
loved and allowed to grow and blossom. She is probably fine with
gentle cats. It would probably be better for not to have young
children who have demanding energy though she evidently had a child
in her last home.

I am thinking of a home of love and no stress just to be easy for her.

She eats wet and dry and is litterbox perfect. More photo's as soon
as she has been bathed.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Moon, a Davis Persian kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Davis, or seeking a Persian kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
