Jewel's Story...
READ THE ENTIRE WRITE-UP; it contains all the info on the dog & our adoption process. It also contains the link to our Adoption Application. Jewel needs a foster home. If you're interested in helping her while she waits for her forever home, please email us at 1yorkiesrescue@gmail.com. Thank you!

Jewel is a 6 month old, 7 lb. Yorkie mix female puppy. She's great with other small dogs & loves to play with her fellow K9 friends. Jewel is new to our rescue so we'll have more info soon. Jewel is happy, playful, affectionate, sweet, & very good-natured. Because of her age, she needs a home where someone is there all or most of the time. Adults or a family with children who are 12 years & up, who have dog experience & know how to properly treat a small dog are perfect for her. Jewel is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, fully groomed, dewormed & she's been treated for fleas/ticks. Her adoption donation is $300 & includes the cost of her lifetime microchip registration. If you can provide Jewel with the kind of home she needs, please click here to complete our adoption application Adoption Guidelines. Thank you for choosing to adopt!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jewel, a Orange Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Orange, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Orange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange paves the way for another one to be saved.
