found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
We believe she is a Kelpie mix. We adopted her from the humane
society last summer as a puppy. (OHS said she was a lab, but she is
definitely a smaller breed, and certainly a herding breed, most closely
resembling a Kelpie).
Ramona is a medium sized dog and weighs about 40 lbs.
She is extremely smart and learns new tricks quickly.
She is now about a year and a half old and full of energy. She is looking
for a home where she can work, run and play all day. She would do best in a
home with no small children as her instinct is to herd and she may jump and
nip at times. We have had Ramona instinct tested by a herder in Estacada who
said she has the herding instinct, but needs a little bit of work because
she is a dominate female and at this time, works for herself.
She would also be great as an agility dog or possibly even a search and
Ramona has been through puppy obedience training and is fully crate and
house trained. She would love to be your energetic puppy during the day and
relax on your lap in the evening. She is a very loving, intuitive puppy.
She will need your full attention and daily training to be a perfect fit in
She learns quickly and can sit, lay down, wait and is eager to learn more.
Adoption fee of $100 will be donated to Family Dogs New Life Shelter and
includes a crate, bed, leash, and a starter bag of her food (she is on a
diet of California Natural dog food).
She is up to date on all vaccines and she is spayed. She has had no health
problems, only routine check ups at the vet. Her complete vet record will
also be provided.
