Lydia's Story...
LYDIA
12 to 15 month old female seal point Ragdoll
Lydia is still a baby girl. She l has long lines that are slender and will fill out as she grows. She is coltish like a gangly teenager. She can be startled into shyness but basically she is a relaxed loving girl. The world is still new to her and she needs to grow up into a adult . Ragdolls grow in body size for the first three plus years of life three years so she is still getting started. Their personalities of course mature and develop during this time also.

She is also a very pretty girl kitty. She looks very like her brother, Lawrence only a smaller female size. She is a lovebug and has all that Ragdoll sweetness. Happy and playful, she watches birds out the window and comes over purring for attention. Her eyes are the Ragdoll aqua blue and her face shows the striking dark and light colors of a seal point, with a lighter brown dusting her back. Like her brother she has the signature little brown goatee. She is so cute. Pink nose.
She eats wet and dry and is llitterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lydia, a Davis Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Davis, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
