Beckham von Birmingham is a wonderful 5 month old German Shepherd puppy. Per his foster mom: Beckham has the ideal puppy temperament, not hyper and not too mellow. After the initial excitement wears off of meeting new people, Beckham settles down and sits quietly beside you and awaits your praise, rarely have we corrected him for jumping on anyone. At 5 months old, Beckham is housetrained, crate trained, knows sit, down, and shake. He is in the process of leash training but doesn’t pull much, so he will master the walk quickly. Beckham loves people and dogs, he will follow his person anywhere. He also plays nicely with children and if he gets a bit too excited for our four year old she can tell him “no” and he will stop. He enjoys all balls, toys, chews and he in turn does not chew our shoes, socks, etc. I can’t say enough about how well behaved this pup is and what an amazing dog he is going to be for some lucky family. He’s also a classic shepherd talker, it’s a bit like hearing a baby Chewbacca when he’s playing. Very cute! MORE PICTURES COMING!
