NOTE: Skippy is at the PASADENA shelter, address and hours below.
His ID#A293030

Skippy is such a sweet little fellow! He gets along well with all the people, kids, and dogs he meets! He even did amazingly well when introduced to the shelter's clinic cat, said hi with a sniff then left him alone. He is housebroken and perfectly behaved inside his home. He will even "talk" to you to let you know when he needs to go outside to go potty! He walks like the little gentleman he is on a leash. He would make a wonderful family pet or pet for a senior.

In fact, since he's over 5 years old (he's 9), Skippy qualifies for the shelter's Seniors For Seniors program, and would only be $20 for an adopter over 60 years old. He's also already neutered, so can go home with you right away!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skippy loves cats - at shelter, a Los Angeles Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
