My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow is a handsome 4-year old black Persian that was surrendered to us because he was unhappy in his former home. He had to move earlier this year, and came into this living situation which was not any better. He wasn't tolerated by the resident cat and harassed by the dog so he was miserable.
Since we took him in and he had a little time to relax he's been nothing but a loving and sweet cat.
He gets along wonderful with all the resident cats, he is fine with my friendly dog and very people oriented.
Shadow is a sweet talker, he likes to be picked up and held for a short time, he likes to snuggle next to me on the couch and has slept on my bed several times. Shadow is somewhat sensitive to grains so he is currently eating dry California Natural and Brown rice.
He is doing great with it, no nausea.
Shadow is currently growing out of a lion cut, so he will soon need to be brushed regularly to prevent mats. He also needs his eyes cleaned daily, they are the typical teary Persian eyes, but its hard to see with his dark coloring.
Because of him being shuffled around
we would like Shadow to go to a home with other friendly pets. He would be ok as an only pet if he is not left alone too much.
