Newman's Story...
*****ADOPTION PENDING********This is "Newman" who has Paul Newman's pretty blue eyes. He came from a barn colony that was being trapped to be neutered and returned. We thought this boy deserved a better life then being a barn kitten, especially with winter coming on. He is not quite sure what to think of humans but is tolerating being held and loves to have "room service". We are hoping with some TLC in time he is going to be a good friend for someone.Newman has now been Neutered, tested for FIV-Felv, first vaccines, treated for parasites and microchipped. 9/30/11

Newman will have to be kept in one room with lots of interaction with his humans daily to overcome his fearfulness. He is a bit of a project kitten but will be well worth it. **UPDATE*10-18-11 Newman is seeking us out for petting and rubbing around our ankles. He still scares fairly easily but bounces right back out. Doing awesome and is going to be a great kitten for someone.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Newman, a Brighton Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Brighton, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Brighton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brighton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brighton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brighton paves the way for another one to be saved.
