Dixie's Story...
Meet Dixie! DOB: March 2010

Dixie is a gorgeous, sweet, gentle natured, quiet, loving soul looking for a mellow, relaxed home where she can feel safe and confident. She can be insecure at times, but warms up quickly when approached slowly and enjoys being petted and human contact. She is usually found snuggled up with a variety of other cats in the shelter. She has watched many of her snuggle buddies leave through adoption and is very eager to find a “furever” home of her very own. Excellent with other cats, Dixie will do best with another furry companion in the home, to lead by example and snuggle with. A darling little cat with so much love to offer, Dixie will make a fantastic addition to a quiet family home! If you want to give Dixie the “furever” home she has been patiently waiting for, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.

About North Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adooption contract is found on-line.
