Cherry's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Cherry's Story...
Cherry , DSH, Spayed Female, all shots, Estimated DOB Spring 2007, Cherry is a gorgeous roly poly cat with unusual markings and no tail. She was either thrown out or abandoned with a feral colony of cats, but she is not feral. She did, however, suffer from an injury that kept her from being able to go to the bathroom on her own. Cherry's foster mom had to press on her hindquarters for about a month to help her eliminate, until finally she could use the bathroom without assistance. She is special needs now as she needs special food for her urinary tract, and because she is super sensitive about her rear end and though she loves being petted, if you touch her near her backside she will bite you. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cherry, a Morganton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Morganton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Morganton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morganton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morganton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morganton paves the way for another one to be saved.
