Georgia's Story...
Georgia is a 7 month old spayed female hound mix. She was found as a stray. Wow - what a difference training can make in a dog's life! Georgia was an adorable handful of a puppy - jumpy, mouthy and generally fresh. She has spent some time with our friend Shawn at Alpha One K-9 Oasis, doing some serious training. She came back a different dog - still a puppy, but calm enough to sit with (or on) a new friend and ready to start life as a family dog. Come meet Miss Georgia and see what we mean.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgia, a Milton Hound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Milton, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Milton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milton paves the way for another one to be saved.
