Ben's Story...
And a description well first and foremost Ben is one of the Best Pups I have ever had and I truly mean that. I found him in the middle of 2978 which is a main road here in Tomball which has speed limits on excess of 60mph and I thought to myself if he gets hit its on me, I mean why not help the lil boy if I can, I realize that Ben belonged to someone but he was malnourished and flee and ticks where all over him so I decided to take him in and find some help for the pup. Now according to Dr. Ross and his staff he is approx. a year old which would explain why he is very playful and active he is 89 lbs. He also is house trained and I am working with him to leash train him and try my best to eliminate the amount of pulling he does. He is a licker but not alot and his breath doesnt stink. He does not bark at all, he doesnt even bark at other dogs that are in his face barking at him I was really relieved that he doesnt bark, my lil family doesnt like yappers. He is really good with other dogs, he is not aggresive towards them, he just wants to play and get to know them. He also is great with kids I have a two year old and he leaves my son alone. I dont know about cats but I would assume if he doesnt know what a cat is he would be good with them but again im just guessing. He is heart worm negative. He is crate trained that is where he stays at night and when I am gone at school.. What else he is beautiful and he loves squeaky toys and plastic bottles I have caught him trying to chew other stuff but he listens and leaves it alone if I tell him no. He is a very happy puppy and we love him so we can only hope that he can be adopted and live a beautiful long life where ever he goes because he will give all the love he can to the person or family that wants to take him in. Come take Ben for a walk at Petco Humble on FM 1960 just east of Hwy 59 on weekends 12-4:30 and see if he is a match for your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ben, a Humble German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Humble, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Humble.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Humble already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Humble breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Humble paves the way for another one to be saved.
