My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Update** (1/7/13) Sage has been living in a local foster home now for a few months and is just thriving in the care of her foster mom. She adores her daily walks and just wants to please her mom. Sage is still not a fan of some other dogs and is very picky about her canine friends. The best situation for Sage to be happiest would be for her to be adopted as the only dog in the home. Sage wants her human all to herself! IF YOU CAN HELP SAGE BY OFFERING HER A NEW HOME, PLEASE EMAIL AngelsAmongUsRS@live.com. (6/12/12) We received this update from one of our Georgia rescue friends. Sage is in beautiful shape and happy. She's living in a room with parakeets and doesn't pay any attention to them. She barks to go out and has never had an accident in the house. Sage walks very well on the leash. She loves her crate and actually prefers to sleep in it. She will engage in play and loves to give big wet kisses. Sage is living with a male dog that she plays with and an older female dog with whom she coexists. Sage is one that will have to be seen in person to promote her virtues, so we are looking for a foster home for her in PA or DE so that she is available to meet potential adopters more easily. TO HELP SAGE BY FOSTERING OR ADOPTING, PLEASE EMAIL AngelsAmongUsRS@live.com. (6/1/11) Sage had her bloodwork done yesterday so that she could receive her dental and spay this week. She appears to be very healthy, except that her thyroid count was not in the acceptable range, so she is now on meds for it which costs about $10-$15 per month. She should live a normal life, and hopefully the meds will help her drop a few pounds. (5/5/11) Poor Sage was dropped at the shelter by her owners last month. She is a sweet old gal who needs a nice home to live out the rest of her life filled with love. She is 10 years old and 89 lbs. Her owners said she is good with kids and house trained. Sage is now living in an out of state foster home, where she is doing well with the other dogs....and is just so happy to be out of the scary shelter. Sage is UTD on all her vacs and is heartworm negative. TO FOSTER OR ADOPT SAGE, PLEASE EMAIL AngelsAmongUsRS@live.com.
