Arya's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Arya's Story...
Arya is an english pointer hound mix, we think.. She was turned into the shelter underweight and with two cherry eyes. We have put some weight on her, spayed her and repaired her cherry eyes. She has had 4 rounds of puppy shots and rabies vaccination. She is now almost 8 months old and has been current on HW and flea prevention. She is ready for her new home. She is very sweet, affectionate and full of energy. She needs a home with an active family that enjoys the outdoors. If you would like to make this special girl a permanent part of your family, please contact onemorelastchancerescue@hotmail.com or call 423-903-1625 for an application. Arya is currently in TN awaiting her new home. Her adoption fee of $425 includes transport up thru New England.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arya, a Portland Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
