Fanny's Story...
I am the Fantabulous, Fantastic, Fun Loving Fanny Fan!!  I am quite the catch, let me tell you and if you let me, I might just wiggle my way right in to your heart!  See, I'm a sensitive mamma dog looking for my forever home.  A home with people that will snuggle with me, take me on adventures, snuggle with me some more, teach me new things and snuggle!!  I'm a very affectionate girl, sometimes a little too much, but hey, when you're as sweet and full of love as me, you need to share it!  I am housebroken, crate trained and walk GREAT on a leash.  I love dogs and cats and PEOPLE!!  I already know a few basic commands and am so eager to please that I will benefit most from positive based training as I get my feelings hurt if I think I've done something wrong.  Spend 5 minutes snuggling with me and then try to look in to my big brown eyes and tell me we aren't meant to be!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fanny, a Portland American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
