Layla's Story...
LAYLA...... Lab / Hound mix. DOB April/May 2011.  ADORABLE.  This little girl was found as a stray in the pouring rain with some bruises and a sore leg.  She is now (as you can see) enjoying life in her foster home.  She has been great with kids and other dogs and just seems to be an all around love !  She will be spayed and have a current rabies and distemper as well as be wormed.  She really is a cutie pie and needs a good, loving, responsible home where she can thrive and grow into a young woman... If you think that Layla would fit into your heart, home and life please contact Keeper Rescue at keeperrescue@gmail.com telling us a bit about yourself and where you live....  Layla will be waiting to hear from you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla, a Fort Hunter Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Fort Hunter, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Fort Hunter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Hunter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Hunter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Hunter paves the way for another one to be saved.
