My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DAISY and CUBBY .  Rottweiler / Hound (the hound is a guess) .  These two kids have quite a story. They were found alongside their owner who had been dead for 2 days in their home.  They were very distraught.  Daisy was the most upset and appeared to have been injured by the possibility of the owner falling on her. Keeper Rescue was asked to help. They had been very close to their owner as well as each other (they are litter-mates).  Daisy had had pups in May at 11 months old. They were taken to the vet and upon examination it was discovered that Daisy had a 22 caliber bullet in her hind-end !!  She was operated on and it was removed as well as she was spayed. She had a very bad eye infection as well , was very underweight and also had hookworm.  She has had some damage to the muscles in her hind-end but after 4 weeks of antibiotics and treatment she has come along beautifully !  Cubby was also thin and had hookworm plus he tested positive for Lyme Disease. He too has been treated and is doing well........  These dogs are the sweetest, gentlest, most loving dogs that you could ever know. They are a year old ( DOB 6/2009) and have been through so much.  They are inseparable and love and rely on each other so we will NOT separate them.  We know that their mom was a Rottie but not what their father was......We are looking for a loving home for them where they will be part of the family and loved. They need to find peace now and a forever home. EVERYONE who has met them falls in love ...........  If you would be interested in two very loyal, loving dogs please contact Keeper Rescue at keeperrescue@yahoo.com telling us a bit about yourself and where you live..............  These kids truly are "Keepers"
