I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Alors, mon amis! My name is Cherie. Fostermom call me "Mon belle Cherie petit", which means "My beautiful little darling" in French. Ok, ok. I know I'm not French (I'm actually a JRT/Dachshund mix), but I am a very sweet senior lady who is looking for a new home. My people put me in this awful place called a "shelter", and it was horrible! All the barking, the smell, I am so glad to be out of there! I think they put me in there because they were tired of taking care of me; I'm a senior & tiny, so sometimes I have trouble holding my pee. (Fostermom says vinegar is a wonderful thing. I wonder what that means...?) I'm glad fostermom has a ramp, becasue I don't do stairs too well. I don't see so well, either, so I like my human(s) to go outside with me. At night, fostermom carries me out to the middle of the yard so I have to go potty out there, otherwise I'm somewhat afraid of going out in the dark. She carries a bright flashlight so I can see better, bless her heart. All I really want is someone who understands that getting old has its problems, and will love me in spite of it. I know it takes a bit of work to take care of me, but I promise I will repay you with all the love I have to give!
