Sugar's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sugar's Story...
There were 3 chihuahua girls who were heading to the shelter but we took them in. The lady claimed she was not the owner but it appeared they were familiar with her. The other rescue group with us would not take even one, so we took all three but one has found a home. These two girls seem very attached to each other and we are trying to place them together. One is a long haired Chihuahua (Sandy), the other very short hair (Sugar) and they are both very sweet and a bit shy at first. They are great with other dogs and cats too. They are about 3 years old and have had everything done including a full dental. Please give these sweet girls a forever home, they deserve it, after almost being dumped at the shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a San Pedro Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
