Buddy's Story...
Hi, my name is Buddy and I was surrendered to the shelter because my owner had "too many dogs." I'm about 9 months old and I'm said to get along with other animals and children! I've lived outside in a kennel so far but I'd really love a home where I could live inside with my family! I am up to date on my shots but I MUST be neutered within 30 days of my adoption!!! If you are interested in me and you can provide a loving responsible forever home please contact the shelter and don't forget to include my ID number

ALL ANIMALS MUST BE ALTERED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ADOPTION OR BY SIX MONTHS OF AGE!!!

Act quickly to adopt Buddy. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Ladysmith Golden Retriever/Poodle (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Poodle (Standard) for sale in Ladysmith, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Poodle (Standard) dog from a breeder in Ladysmith.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ladysmith already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ladysmith breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Poodle (Standard) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Poodle (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ladysmith paves the way for another one to be saved.
