My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joe is roughly 4 year old Dal who came to us from the Asheville area. He is fully up to date on his shots, neutered and is HW neg. Joe gets along well with other dogs and loves to be outdoors. He has had a bit of a rough life as he was kept outdoors and not really paid that much attention and it shows because he is very shy and submissive. He will surrender his food to other dogs. He LOVES to be petted but will shy away from an above the head approach. Joe will retreat from a person that he doesn’t know for the first few minutes he is around them. He craves attention and will paw at you if you stop petting him. He is housebroken and crate trained and has recently started showing interest in tennis balls. He is very easy to take care of and will joyfully come when called. One of his favorite things is to sit beside you while watching tv (his favorite show is "Minute to Win It") while having his head scratched. He is a young male who will gladly rough house with other dogs. Joe will do well in any home, with or without other dogs.
