Tazz's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Black (All) | Age: | Adult |
| Sex: | Male | ID#: | 2814013 | Hair: | Short |
I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with dogs.
Tazz certainly lives up to his name. Much like another cat of ours named Bubba, Tazz has a very hard outer shell that comes with hissing, spitting, claws and teeth. He needs a very patient and understanding owner than can show him that not all humans are bad. Once he is in someone's arms, Tazz can brushed and loved on and he purrs, nuzzles and meows affectionately in response.
Our volunteers work daily, pushing through the hissing and the claws just to watch him turn to putty in their arms. It's a wonderful sight to see and everyone would love to see him find a home of his own.

Shelter Info...
Happy Endings is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), no-kill organization run solely by volunteers who have been saving lives since 1994. It is the mission of Happy Endings to find permanent homes for unwanted, stray, abused or feral animals that are brought to us or rescued from the street.
Happy Endings provides a safe haven for feral, stray, abused, neglected, unwanted and critically injured cats. We care for cats that are sick and provide homes for all cats until they are ready to be adopted. Animals are never euthanized by Happy Endings for convenience sake, but only when, in a veterinarians professional opinion, It is in a state of terminal suffering.
We are located at 5349 Forest Home Avenue and are open on Thursdays - 6 PM to 9 PM and on Saturdays - 11 AM to 4 PM.
Happy endings would like to take this opportunity to thank Crawford Animal Hospital for providing a place to keep, take care of and show some of our adoptable cats there. The turnout has been amazing. Every cat sent there to be shown has been placed into loving homes. To view our cats there, please stop and visit Crawford during their normal business hours. They are located at 4607 South 108th Street, Greenfield, WI 53228.”
All potential adopters must fill out an application and go through an interview. Our adoption facilitators walk them through the shelter and help them find the perfect animal that would best match their homes. After a potential adopter signs up for a specific animal, there is a cool-down period.
We do veterinarian reference checks and follow-up telephone calls on Mondays to make sure the potential adopters are still interested. After the telephone interview has taken place, a home visit is set up and the selected animal is delivered to it's new home.
Our adoption fees are $85 for one cat or kitten and $130 for two cats or kittens. The adoption fee includes various procedures which have already been performed, such as:
- Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency virus tests
- Distemper shots
- Rabies Booster
- Preventative Dewormer
- Spay or neuter for all cats at least 6 months of age or older
- An adoption folder complete with an "Animal Health Log Sheet" containing the cat's health history.
Under no circumstances do our animals leave the shelter the same day they are signed up for.
