My story

Dixie is a sweet and spunky 4 month old dachshund looking for a home and family of her own. She is very friendly and affectionate and just a ton of fun! She is such a cutie with those wirey whiskers! She is always in a great mood and loves to be a part of her family’s activities. Dixie walks wonderfully on lead and happy to go anywhere with her humans. She is great with our cats and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Dixie was a stray found at our local shelter. How someone could abandon this adorable girl is beyond our understanding. If you would like to give Dixie a forever home please come meet her at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville and see if she’d be your perfect companion.
