Darcy's Story...
Darcy is a 9 month to 1 year old mutt, he may have some Corgi or Dachshund, and looks even a little lab, but whatever he is he sure is a handsome little man! He was found wandering a neighborhood, we searched high and low for his owners to no avail, so after the 30 day holding period he became our charge and available for adoption. Darcy is such an awesome dog. He Loves to cuddle! If you kneel down he will jump right up on your lap, tail wagging. He is most content when he is with his person, either on their lap or putzing around on the floor nearby. He will play with other dogs but he is not a high energy dog, but he is full of love and affection. Darcy has been fixed and is up to date on his shots. He is ready for a new home and will be an amazing companion to a special person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darcy, a Simi Valley Corgi/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Labrador Retriever for sale in Simi Valley, or seeking a Corgi/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Simi Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simi Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simi Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Corgi/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simi Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
