Kendra's Story...
Kendra is a 2 year old Aussie Shepherd/Border Collie mix who is a very sweet girl with a blue eye and a brown eye. When she looks at you with those beautiful eyes, you will just melt. Kendra cocks her head when you are talking to her like she really understands everything you said. She is already crate trained and at least 85% housebroken right now but she is working at it and learns very quickly. Kendra needs a family that has a fenced yard where she can run and play. She also wants someone who will play fetch with her, as she is a very energetic dog.

If you would like to see Kendra, she will be at adoptions on Saturdays from 12-3 pm but please call Elise or Carl at 816-898-5646 or email cbush86975@aol.com to see which location she will be at. Kendra is waiting for the right family that she can call her permanent home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kendra, a Overland Park Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
