Alvin's Story...
AAAALLLLVVVVVIIINNNN!!!! Alvin this and Alvin that! Gosh darn it, I’m tired of David always giving me grief like I’m some kind of trouble maker…sure, I like to have a good time, but I’m no trouble maker. In fact, I hold the Chipmunks together, and I’m the reason we earned a Grammy for “The Witch Doctor” in 1958 (yes, Alvin and the Chipmunks actually won a Grammy). Anyway, I’m so tired of him giving me crap, that I’m retiring from the music game…I just want to be someone’s pet. Why not? I make an awesome pet…I’m super friendly and outgoing, I like respectful children, and I love other dogs…I’m a great family pet! And, you know how some Min-Pins can be trouble makers? I’m not one of those…I’m a pretty well-rounded dude! You should come down and see for yourself! 2 years old-19lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet. Alvin is being fostered by the fine folks at The Dog Park doggie daycare in Sellwood. If you are interested in meeting Alvin you can do so at The Dog Park 503-230-1109 .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alvin, a Portland Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Portland, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
