I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Meet Joby! This Aussie mix guy is about seven years old and weighs 60 pounds. He was rescued from a shelter in Oklahoma because he desperately needed out of the kennels. He is not a breed that does well cooped up all day!
Joby would be ideal for an active single female, because he distrusts men. He gets along with the other dogs in his foster family; however, he may not do well with cats or children. Joby has strong herding instincts and needs a home with a large yard and a high fence where he can play. He loves a lot of room to jump and romp around and he craves affection! Joby is a terrific and bright dog who learns commands very quickly. He really deserves a loving and forever home. By the way, it's not a trick of the light; Joby has one blue eye and one brown!
Adoption fee is $125 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, spay/neuter. Adoption fees also allow us to continue saving animals. Please email ARRColorado@gmail.com for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.

We are a private, non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. We work with foster homes to help find homes for pets in need. We coordinate with other shelters and rescue groups to help spread the word about homeless pets on a regular basis. Our philosophy is that each pet deserves a loving home and a long, healthy, happy life. We do everything in our power to ensure pets receive the training, veterinary care, and loving attention needed in order to provide a "happy ending" for everyone! We operate a volunteer-run thrift store in Breckenridge, Colorado to help fund our operations so we can help as many pets as possible. "For Pets' Sake" is located at 203 N. We ask potential adopters to fill out our adoption application form on our website online, or we can email one directly. Once the application is reviewed and approved, we arrange to do a quick home visit. Once the home visit has been approved, an adoption agreement needs to be filled out online at www.animalrescueoftherockies.org
