Camille's Story...
Camille is a sweet girl. She is a dilute or pastel torti. She is very playful and full of life. Her approximate date of birth is July 28, 2010. She plays well with most other cats. She plays hard and can intimidate other cats occasionally, but if they are up to being with a player, she is the one for you! She would do well with gentle children and would adjust to cat-friendly dogs. She was adopted from our program in May 2011, but returned just a couple of weeks later. We are not sure what happened at that home, but she was obviously completely stressed out. In just over 2 weeks, she lost over 3 pounds and had very loose stools. Shortly after being returned, she was back to a good weight and her stools are much better. We are certain that she will do wonderfully in a new "forever" home, where she will be given the time and compassion she needs to adjust to her new family. Could you be her new people?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Camille, a Muncie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muncie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muncie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muncie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muncie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muncie paves the way for another one to be saved.
