Trinka's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Trinka's Story...
Trinka is a housetrained 60 pound Plott Hound Mix. She likes to emphasize her Brindle coat as being particularly beautiful. She knows that the small furry type dogs get all the attention, but Trinka is very proud of her big girl figure. She likes to keep fit by chasing tennis balls all over the place, and a light jog is always a great way to stay in shape. Trinka is a very happy girl and some times she's just so happy, she forgets how big she is. For that reason, older children will have more fun and be a better match for Trinka.

Trinka adores all the volunteers that come to walk her and take care of her. She's a very popular girl. She's polite to other dogs and is a good player with dogs that she knows well, but being the one & only dog in the family is her wish. So we're passing that on to you. After all, she's pretty much all any one person would need.
Like all the dogs that are adopted, Trinka is a family pet and not an outside dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trinka, a Big Canoe Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Big Canoe, or seeking a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Big Canoe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Big Canoe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Big Canoe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Big Canoe paves the way for another one to be saved.
