Romeo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Romeo's Story...
Romeo is a very intelligent boy! He broke free from his chained life, and found his way to one of our foster homes. She was about to leave for work, so put him in a kennel so he would be safe. He was still dragging the chain. We placed an ad in the paper and nobody responded. We're rather happy, because this wonderful boy doesn't need to live his life on a chain. Romeo is a lover boy as his name suggests. He is great with other dogs and older children. He loves leaping into the air to chase water from a hose and loves catching frisbees! He will walk on a leash, but needs some work. He just wants to be by your side. He is medium energy level for a boxer . video available upon request.
Romeo is aprx. 1.5 years old, is neutered, UTD on shots, HW neg. and on preventative.

He is in foster care in E. TN and will be transported to his forever home. Due to high demand by southern rescues our northern foster homes stay full.

Please complete our application, which is the first step through our adoption process. Once submitted, a volunteer will contact you via email or telephone. It can be found on our main website...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Wakefield Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Wakefield, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Wakefield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wakefield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wakefield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wakefield paves the way for another one to be saved.
