My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Augustina was saved from our local high-kill shelter on the day she was to be euthanized. Our vet believes she had recently had a litter of pups. Such is life in rural E. TN where there are no spay/neuter laws. Unwanted litters or mama dogs are often thrown away like trash or relinquished to kill shelters. She is aprx. 2 years old - perhaps a bit younger. Alert and wanting to please - she's just waiting for a companion who will love her for the rest of her life. An active person would be a great fit! We believe she is an Aussie mix based on her stub tail. Augustina is a medium energy girl and fine with older children. She will chase cats.

She is in foster care in E TN and will be transported north when adopted.
