My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella and her 3 siblings were born to a prized English coonhound here in E. TN. Unfortunately, the neighbor's Australian shepherd bred her - which infuriated the "coonies" owner. He was going to kill these pups if we didn't take them. He'd already tried to starve them to death. With some TLC, they have developed into happy, loving pups! Pups are in foster care in E. TN.


Coonies are wonderful, loyal companions. They do have a hunting instinct so they should never be left without supervision. A fenced yard is required. Bella is shy at first and takes a bit of time to get to know you, but once she feels comfortable - she's a sweet, loving girl. She would love a doggie playmate. She is in a multi-dog foster home and spends hours playing with her "pack-mates". She sleeps in bed with us @ night! She is a submissive girl and while she has not been exposed to cats, she should be fine.

She is fine with respectful children. Bella is almost 6 mo. old, is spayed, UTD on shots and ready for her forever home.
