Chester is a super sweet, people-loving cat who curls up next to you and rolls on the floor to be pet. He is a total people-person, a real extrovert who LOVES to chat all the time. Such a conversationalist!!!! This little sweetie will never stop amusing the fortunate party who adopts him. And he’s as loving as a valentine. All of our adorable kitties can be easily visited in the New Orleans area--either at Spaymart’s new Thrift and Gift Shop at 6601 Veterans Blvd in the shopping center with T.J. Maxx, at one of our PetsMart adoption events, or at our Mississippi headquarters location. An adoption fee of $85 is requested for adult cats which includes sterilization, vaccinations, combo testing, deworming and flea control as well as microchipping.

SpayMart is a nonprofit 501c3 founded by Lynn R. Chiche and Pamela V. Casey in 1998 to deliver proactive, results-oriented spay/neuter assistance to the community. Since 2005 SpayMart has continue to offer low-cost spay/neuter assistance to the New Orleans community in addition to running an adoption program at PetsMart Elmwood, and Petco Stores in the New Orleans area. Furthermore, we have a Community Kitten Foster Program and a shelter filled with 275+cats of all types and ages in addition to educating people about responsible pet ownership.
