Odie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Odie's Story...
Odie is yet another victim of the April tornado in Greene County, TN. He lost his home and is safe now in our rescue.

He is 4 yrs. old, loves attention, is fine with children and other dogs and cats. He was not fed the best diet apparently before rescue and when initially checked over by our vet, it was suggested that a dental be done. Poor Odie had to have 8 teeth extracted. He now eats well and has gained weight. He is very healthy and a love bug. He will sleep as long as you are willing to stay in bed!

He is neutered, UTD on shots, HW negative and on preventative.

Once adopted, he will be transported to New England via Alpha Dog Transport. The transport company charges $125 when your pup is claimed. Their vet records are also handed off at that time.
Please complete our application, which is the first step through our adoption process. Once submitted, a volunteer will contact you via email or telephone. It can be found on our main website...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Odie, a Providence Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Providence, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Providence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Providence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Providence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Providence paves the way for another one to be saved.
