*COURTESY LISTING. This pet is NOT in foster care with Leftover Pets. Please refer to contact info BELOW for more info on this pet.

Rocket is a mostly black/brindle and white pit/lab mix, weighs approximately 50 pounds, and is around 1.5 years old. He has LOTS of energy and loves to chase anything you throw. He sort of brings it back, but mainly he then wants to play tug of war. He’s very fast, too, and would probably make a champion disk dog! He's very sweet and gentle but high energy.
Rocket is fully vetted and current on all vaccination and preventives. He has been through three weeks of inboard training at Rockdale Kennels with Danny from Conyers K-9 Academy and knows heel, sit, stay, down, and come.
If interested in adopting this handsome boy, please contact April at thejuber@hotmail.com or 770-787-4658. A fenced yard is necessary and a home visit is preferred (he lives in northeast Georgia, but I would be willing to travel almost anywhere in the southeast). There is an adoption fee of $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

*Rocket, a Winder Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Winder, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
