I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Charlie was rescued from the Lancaster Animal Shelter. He had no interest due to having cherry eye and was out of time. Not having any intrest and cherry eye he was at high risk of being put to sleep. Cherry eye is common in certain breeds and requires surgery to correct the problem. We rescued Charlie from the shelter and transported him to our vet on his last day of life. There he was completely vetted - his eyes were repaired by putting the gland back in it’s socket. At the same time he was neutered and his teeth were cleaned. Once he was under anaesthesia, our vet was able to exam both eye's without any discomfort to Charlie. One of his eyes had prior damage along with him having cherry eye in both eyes. Charlie had to stay in the hospital for a little over a week to reduce any chances of infection due to every day elements. Once he was ready to leave the hospital he came down with kennel cough. Charlie was treated for having kennel cough - almost a month later Charlie is with us and loving his new life. His eyes are fine and do not interfere with him moving forward seeking a forever home. He's in foster with my cockers in our home and fits right in - he's great with other dogs. Charlie is completely vetted , micro chipped , neutered , parasite free , and up to date on all his vaccines and almost potty trained. The shelter projected he was three years old. We think he’s maybe two. He is so loving and so well behaved and so beautiful ~ we love him bunches. Charlie also loves to cuddle and rest his head on my lap - he's also kennel trained too! He is such a good boy and just so loving. Fostering Charlie has been a pure joy - he will make a great addition to a loving family. He has so much love to give - if you'd like to visit with Charlie please give us a call. He's such a great cocker!!
