Buster's Story...
Buster was rescued from a very high-kill, very remote facility in middle Georgia. He was surrendered by his owner because he just got tired of him. How anyone can be tired of such a sweet boy is beyond our understanding. Buster is a sugar pie. He absolutely loves people and gets along with other dogs and puppies. We tested him with some cats at the facility he was at and he licked one of the kittens through the bars :-). Buster is very playful and full of energy. He is also extremely strong and still needs to learn some manners (his foster mom is working on this). Buster rides great in cars but he does not like getting into them for some reason (probably because the last time he rode in a car he was taken to animal control). This wonderful, sweet boy certainly deserves a loving family to call his own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Douglasville Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Douglasville, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Douglasville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Douglasville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Douglasville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Douglasville paves the way for another one to be saved.
