Winston's Story...
10/5/11 Winston is a beautiful kitten. He has the swirl patterned coat that is so unusual. He is an incredibly friendly guy who loves to sit on your lap and be cuddled. He doesn't mind noise, he usually sits patiently watching his foster mon using the vacuum or blow dryer. He has been socialized with dogs and other cats, seems to blend well in most environments. Winston came to us at 3 weeks with a severe double eye infection, and still has a remaining ulcer on his right eye. It is slowly getting better, but it may always appear a bit cloudy.
Winston enjoys being with people and other animals, usually follows his foster mom around until she makes time to cuddle and love on him:) He also enjoys his canned food treat, he gets excited and climbs around his foster mom as she gets it ready for him.

Adoption fee is $90 and includes spay/neuter, first FVRCP vaccination, Rabies vaccination (3 lbs+), worming, FELV/FIV/FeHW testing, and flea treatment. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winston, a Medina Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Medina, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Medina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medina paves the way for another one to be saved.
