Maggie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Maggie's Story...
Maggie is about a year and a half old is looking for a new home because there were too many cats in her old home to hold them all. Maggie is a beautiful long haired, green-eyed maine coon lookalike who likes to play chase with the other cats and loves her cardboard tunnel and balls with bells in them. She's also an excellent scratcher -- she uses only the right things: her cardboard scratchers and carpeted posts. She'll need a bit of time to get used to her new surroundings like most cats but after that, Maggie will be playing hide and seek, sleeping at your feet, and greeting you at the door when you come home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Alexandria Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Alexandria, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Alexandria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alexandria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alexandria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alexandria paves the way for another one to be saved.
