Daisy's Info...

Daisy's Story...
Daisy is one of 7 Jack Russell Terrier pups we rescued from a rural kill shelter. She's approximately 9 weeks old and weighs 4 pounds. She will be ready for adoption by mid-November, after she's spayed.

Daisy's adoption fee is $300 and that covers 4 sets of vaccinations + rabies, at least 3 wormings (more if necessary), spay, microchip, flea treatment, heartworm preventative, and all care until adoption. A portion of her adoption fee will be used to subsidize spaying/neutering in the county where she was relinquished.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Mt Airy Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Mt Airy, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Mt Airy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt Airy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt Airy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt Airy paves the way for another one to be saved.
