This pet is Adoptable

My name is Milo and I am a pure breed shihtzu who was born in Dec. of 05. The only reason my family gave me up was that I am not good with kids. I will growl and nip if they pulled on my face. (We do not think that he is mean, just that he may need a home with a firm hand to train him out of that behavior. He is still very much a puppy and easy to train.) I am playful, active and friendly to visitors. I love to chase ball and toys and love to play with other dogs. I have been an inside only dog who is still working on housetraining. If my owners stuck to a schedule I would do just fine. The best home for me would be a family that has time to spend with me and who is willing to work on training. I will follow you around and am very affectionate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MILO, a Provo Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Provo, or seeking a Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in Provo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Provo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Provo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Provo paves the way for another one to be saved.
