My story

Isis's Story
I almost got to be on television! I thought I was going to be on the Hoarders program, and I was very excited. But then someone decided that the five cats living in the house were "not in good condition" and needed to be removed from the home. The other cats all went to board at a vet's office and then a foster home, but I got taken to a shelter where I lived in a cage. I was so unhappy and so scared, especially when they thought I had ringworm. You don't even want to know what shelters do to cats who have ringworm!

Fortunately, a rescuer got me out of there just in time, had me checked for ringworm (I didn't have it) and gave me to the Howard County Cat Club. I'm having fun in the group home. The other cats are nice, I have lots of toys to play with, and I love the outdoor enclosure and those big, tall cat trees. I go up to the top perch and feel like the top cat looking down on everyone else.

Although it's fun here, I'd really love to have my own home again with humans who love me. I'd be a fun cat for older kids who love to play and a great companion for adults who want a beautiful, friendly cat to love.
