Sunshine's Story...
Sunshine came from a high kill animal shelter. The shelter labeled her as feral because she was scared there. She was placed in a feral cat cage where she would try to hind in the smallest corner she could find. Kiss for Kittens saw this cat and knew they had to save her. The workers at the shelter said Oh she is feral you won't be able to touch her. We knew she wasn't feral by the way she was acting. She was super sweet as soon she got to the foster home. The next day the foster home discovered she had 2 wounds, one on her ear and one on her back leg. Sunshine had been shot by a BB gun. This sweet girl needed emergency care. Her wounds were infected and needed cleaned out and she received a loader dose of antibiotic. She was a trooper with everything that has happened to her. She now being looked after by her foster home and is on antibiotics. She will go back to the vet next week and hopefully she will be well enough to be spayed. If you would like to put an application in for this sweet girl please email roccospirit@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunshine, a Simpsonville Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Simpsonville, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Simpsonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simpsonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simpsonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simpsonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
