Hi, I’m Jax! I was originally brought to a high-kill shelter as a stray, but after a short time I was transferred to All They Need is Love where I am happily in a foster home! I am around 55lbs, housebroken, crate-trained, dog friendly, and know most of my basic obedience! I have been around cats but my foster mom thinks I am a little too interested in them, whatever that means! I currently live with 4 other dogs, some big and some little, and I do great with everyone. I like to be chased around the yard and snuggle with them at night.
If I could describe myself in one word it would be FUNNY or at least everyone thinks I am since they all laugh when they’re around me. I am clumsy, have a huge wiggle butt, and I am very much still a puppy without the puppy habits! I love to flop over for you and plop in you lap so you’re forced to pet me, especially when I look at you with those eyes. I sometimes get scared of things and I’ll lay flat on the ground like a pancake, once you tell me I am safe it makes me feel better, because of this my foster mom thinks I’d be best with a home with older kids. Little kids may not realize they’re scaring me, and she wants me to feel safe.
My favorite things are going for walks, swimming, and being loved! I also really enjoy playing outside so if you have a fenced yard that's a plus! I am very affectionate and like to rest my head in your lap to be pet. Please contact the rescue to schedule a time to meet me, I promise to be your best friend forever!
