Gilligan's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and a special needs pet.

Gilligan's Story...
Gilligan is a very sweet, shy, and loving, one to two-year-old, 35-pound, male, brindle Boxer/Boston Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Gilligan has a sweet demeanor and loves people including children. He is a bit reactive on leash and is selective about his dog friends. He is looking for a home with someone who has time for a young dog who could benefit from a little more training, and exercise.

Gilligan is healthy, de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued dogs. To meet and possibly adopt him, contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net or 708-224-1900. He is currently living in West Chicago, Illinois.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gilligan, a Chicago Boxer/Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Boston Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Boxer/Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
