Rosco's Story...
Roscoe is a young male Belgian Shepherd Malinois mix, approximately4-5 months old. He wandered into the yard of a family who had intended to keep him, but when mom discovered she was pregnant, she made the painful decision to give him up because she couldn't afford to give him the proper care he needed and deserves. He has been in foster care a short while, but shows great promise as being very intelligent. He was a bit nervous and shy at first but quickly adjusted to his new surroundings and began playing beautifully with his foster brothers and sisters. He appears to have been shot in the foot and as a result has a very, very slight limp. He is very lovable and playful and would be a great addition to any good home. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, looking for a forever home.We must have an approved adoption application prior to you and your family meeting any dog/puppy. The adoption donation is tax deductible at the end of the year so when you adopt you will receive a donation receipt . Please email the rescue for an adoption application and get the process started. Thank you for considering a homeless puppy/dog!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosco, a Litchfield Belgian Malinois/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Malinois/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Litchfield, or seeking a Belgian Malinois/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Litchfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Litchfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Litchfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Malinois/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Belgian Malinois/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Litchfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
