My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

2/18/12 - I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!

ADOPTION FEE: $325

Fostered in North Carolina

Age: 6 years

Weight: 10.5 lbs.

1/3/12 – Georgie is doing great!!! He has had his ph levels of his urine checked a few times and all is well. The dogtor decided he does not need any additional medication at this time. So for now he is just on prescription food. He is such a happy, loving and playful little man. He loves to play with any pup that will play with him! He reminds everyone of a cuddly little teddy bear and is as sweet as can be. He is ready and waiting for his very own furever home to come along!

10/28/11 - The results of Georgie's bladder stones came in and they were calcium oxalate. He has to be on prescription Urinary SO dog food and in 30 days will need to have the ph level in his urine checked. If it is where it should be, then he will just need to remain on the prescription food to hopefully keep anymore from forming. If it is not, we will then need to add a medication along with the food to keep them away. We will know more when he has it checked. Georgie also had his teeth cleaned last week and lost 6 teeth. He is feeling and doing great and is playful as ever!

10/13/11 – Please say hello to Georgie! He is a very sweet, loving, playful, and adorable little guy. His previous owner had to surrender Georgie to YHR because he had some bladder stones that needed to be removed and his previous owner could not afford the surgery. Since coming to YHR he has had them removed and is recovering quite well. He had one large stone and 5 or 6 small ones. We are still waiting on the results to find out exactly what kind they are to determine what needs to be done next to help try and prevent anymore from forming. Georgie is a very vibrant and happy pup that gets along great with people and dogs. He has even played with another pup in his foster home. He is a very good listener and loves laying on the couch and sleeping with you in bed. He is good about going outside and doing his business and isn’t much of a barker. He is a great little traveler and a joy to have around.
