Pebbles is an adorable unique 4 1/2 year old smooth piebald tweenie dachshund rescued from a puppymill. She is shy but sweet-natured and loves other dogs. This poor girl had 2 HUGE hernias when rescued- they have been repaired and she has been spayed, updated on shots, and had a much-needed dental. She tested weakly positive for heartworm, and needs a calmer adult home in which to recover. Please submit an application if you are interested.
40 dogs gained their freedom 10/8 from a PA puppymill that is closing, including several year old Norwich Terriers (a rare find in rescue)! These special sweeties have spent their entire lives in cages being used for breeding and can't wait to start their new lives and learn to enjoy being treasured companions at last. Puppymill dogs are usually timid but sweet-natured and LOVE other dogs. Most do best in patient adult households with a friendly social dog to help show them how to live in a real home. We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
