Belinda's Story...
Ok, enough with the short jokes! I’m gonna get a complex!  I find my little legs quite enduring; just look at how long and low I am! Belinda is the name, but I must say…it just doesn’t feel ‘powerful’ enough for me...Anyway, along with giving me a new home you can give me a new name, something like Xena or Laura Croft… you know, something with a little punch. Since I am a gladiator of love ! A fun, animated, and charming companion in need of patience, training and a solid leader. I do well with other dogs- but I can be dominate at times- little woman syndrome ya know! I am friendly and playful and very outgoing with people, and I just love children. What do you think? Are you ready for this little Gladiator?
3 years old-25lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; microchip, spay, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy &Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Belinda, a Portland Dachshund/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Corgi for sale in Portland, or seeking a Dachshund/Corgi dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Corgi breeders who help with Dachshund/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
